Agent Governance & Kubernetes Routing

Cloud Native Seattle meetup at the Seattle Maritime Building with two talks: one on AI agent governance as a runtime systems problem, one on how routing actually works inside a Kubernetes cluster. Speakers from Microsoft and AWS.

Why it matters

As agentic workloads run inside Kubernetes, the routing and governance layer directly determines which model endpoint each request hits — making this overlap between cloud-native ops and AI infrastructure practically unavoidable for platform teams.

The tokenmaxxing angle

The agent governance talk explicitly covers Agent Control Planes and zero-trust service mesh concepts — the same infrastructure layer where model routing policies live. Getting that layer wrong means uncontrolled spend across endpoints.

From the organizers

Imran Siddique from Microsoft presents on agent governance and Sitesh Pattanaik from AWS presents on Kubernetes routing. Event is at Seattle Maritime Building, 906 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98104, on June 18 from 5–7:30 PM PDT.
