AI Agents Seattle August 2026

Monthly Seattle AI Agents meetup with two talks: building a 'software factory' via deterministic code coordination, and lessons from running Claude in production across Slack, Jira, and Confluence.

Tue, Aug 11, 5:30 PMPike/Pine, Seattle, WA

Why it matters

Both talks are about operating agents at scale rather than demoing them, which is where token spend and reliability problems actually surface once an agent is wired into real internal tools.

The tokenmaxxing angle

Deterministic coordination around agent output is a routing strategy: it constrains where non-deterministic, token-hungry model calls are allowed to touch, which is the same problem as picking when to route to a cheaper step.

From the organizers

Speakers are Adam Jacob (CEO, Swamp Club) on 'How to build a software factory' and Casey Margell (Co-Founder/COO, Indisea Software) on 'Adventures in Adapting'; 126 confirmed at Foundations, Seattle.
